Our Verdict
Our family of four visited Pendennis House Hotel for a weekend during October, initially attracted by the booking.com listing. We booked a stay in the Garden Suite which appeared to be a delightful two-bedroomed suite that would suit a family of two adults and two young children.
Unfortunately there were a number of shortcomings, both with the room and communication with the owners, which left us rather disappointed with the whole experience. Retrospectively, when we've dug deeper into the booking.com and TripAdvisor reviews, it would appear that the experience can range from being truly wonderful right down to inadequate. Unfortunately ours was the latter.
The best attribute is its location for exploring Falmouth and especially it's closeness to Gyllyngvase Beach and the wonderful
Gyllyngvase Beach Cafe. If the price is right then this could turn out to be very convenient accommodation for you if you're visiting Falmouth and the surrounding area.
